This patient is a 55 year old woman who came to see Dr. Alfred Sofer when she was diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time after having had lumpectomy in the past. She knew that this time she would need breast removal. She desired a breast reconstruction. After discussing options with Dr. Sofer, she proceeded with bilateral Breast Reconstruction using tissue expanders immediately following her mastectomy. After the expansion process in the office, Dr. Sofer then replaced the tissue expanders with silicone implants. The reconstruction process was completed with nipple/areola reconstruction
