Breast Reduction Surgery, also known as Reduction Mammaplasty, is preformed to decrease the overall size of the breasts and create a more natural, proportional look. Breast Reduction Surgery removes excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to achieve a breast size proportionate with the body and alleviates the discomfort often associated with overly enlarged breasts.
Overly large breasts can cause women physical pain and emotional concerns. The physical weight of excess breast tissue can hamper active, healthy lifestyles and the emotional discomfort can cause poor self image and undue self consciousness
