Prudy Sofer, RN, a specialist in laser technology, skin rejuvenation and plastic surgery. She has been working in this field over 17 years. Prudy worked as an operating room nurse for 7 years educating new nurses and helping them to provide excellent care to their patients while assisting surgeons, and operating laser equipment during plastic surgery. Prudy works alongside the well-known Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Alfred Sofer, in Fairfield. Together they provide patients with the top of the line laser skin care treatments and use the “gold standard” technology for laser treatments available.Prudy is well trained with the “cutting edge” of newer and better treatments and technology to better serve her patients. She utilizes two of the latest lasers from Lumenis, the “gold standard” in laser technology. | |

Her financial background aides her in assisting all our patients with the most thorough financial assistance possible. She is caring and compassionate making it her personal responsibility that our patients understand not only the surgical aspects of Plastic Surgery, but their financial options. | A Psychology Graduate from Sacred Heart University, Luana enjoys working with patients and understanding their needs. Besides scheduling appointments, treatments and surgeries and providing patients with resourceful information, Luana also dedicates her time in ensuring that patients receive an outstanding costumer service. Working with Dr. Sofer has made her understand that cosmetic plastic surgery is not only about how one looks on the outside, but also the powerful impact on one’s confidence level and self-esteem. | Ellen Mello has knowledge in Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery with 1 year of experience. Her extensive knowledge and experience aided by her friendly demeanor, makes our patients feel comfortable knowing she is Dr. Sofer’s assistant. She ensures our patients experience is as enjoyable as possible by providing surgical information and scheduling surgery time to fit their needs. Ellen works closely with our Breast Reconstruction patients and finds the time she spends with them one of the most rewarding aspects of her work with Dr. Alfred Sofer. | Betania Costa has been in the Plastic Surgery field for 1 year with knowledge in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. She provides patients with a warm, friendly attitude that is heartfelt and genuine, as she guides you through your experience. Extremely attentive to our patients needs, she is there to listen and do everything possible to ensure our patients are 100% satisfied with their experience. Betania specializes in skin care, medical peels, Obagi and Jane Iredale, the famous mineral and camouflage makeup. |
