Gabrielle Pino (Troisi) is a Connecticut State and National Board-Certified Physician Assistant. We welcomed Gabrielle to the practice in 2013 as our aesthetic specialist to provide injectable services such as BOTOX Cosmetic®, Dysport®, and various dermal fillers. She also oversees other non-surgical options for facial rejuvenation, including laser and skincare treatments. Gabrielle has spent most of her tenure as a surgical physician assistant in the field of plastic and cosmetic surgery.
In 2018 Gabrielle was named as a Most Loved Injector by RealSelf, the largest online community for aesthetic services and treatments. Determined by real patient nominations, this honor recognizes Gabrielle as one of the top injectors in the United States. In our practice, patients come from all parts of Connecticut seeking Gabrielle’s injectable expertise. Having assisted with many facelift surgeries, Gabrielle is distinguished by her first-hand knowledge of facial musculature. She uses this knowledge to precisely place BOTOX and dermal fillers to achieve youthful-looking, attractive results. She works closely with all patients to preserve and further enhance their natural beauty, so they leave feeling comforted and confident in their own beautiful skin.
Growing up, Gabrielle always had an interest in the medical field and wanted to choose a profession that allowed for a good work-life balance. Her desire to treat patients and have some flexibility in career choices made becoming a PA the perfect path.
Gabrielle completed her undergraduate studies with honors at The University of Michigan and received a master’s degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies at The George Washington University. She also completed the Norwalk/Yale PA Surgical Residency Program where she was recipient of the Yoichi Katsube Memorial Award for exemplifying diligence, integrity, and surgical ability.
Gabrielle began her career as a physician assistant with a plastic surgery practice in 2006. With her years of experience in a surgical setting, she is uniquely qualified help patients assess both surgical and non-surgical options for meeting their aesthetic goals.
Gabrielle’s non-surgical background includes completing over 100 hours of injectable training from Allegan, Galderma, and Merz for neurotoxins like BOTOX and fillers like Restylane® for the face, hands, and some areas of the body. She is also trained in PRP and PRFM injections with Selphyl® PRP. Gabrielle attends multiple conferences each year, so she can learn about and bring back innovative techniques that are safe and effective for her patients.
Role at Plastic Surgery Center of Fairfield, CT
Gabrielle works closely with Dr. Sofer to help patients understand their surgical and non-surgical options for facial rejuvenation. She feels it is important to collaborate with a board-certified physician who works in the same field, so they can share ideas, refer patients to one another, and offer a wide range of services.
Gabrielle particularly appreciates facial balance and understands that each area of the face requires special care to achieve subtle and natural-looking results. While she enjoys administering all injections, she especially loves helping people address issues of the cheeks and lips. She is impressed with the results of collagen stimulators like Sculptra® and feels this type of product is underutilized, with the potential to benefit nearly all patients. Her favorite “I didn’t know I needed it until I had it” treatments include temple fillers, lower lip fillers, and BOTOX in the chin.
In her spare time, Gabrielle love to spend time with her husband and daughter, visiting family in Michigan, and regularly opening her house to friends for get-togethers.
